On
November 10th, 2002, Tri-State Jeepers held their first annual club "Rock
Crawl". The main reason for the competition was to generate a little
money for the club, BRAGGIN RIGHTS and of coarse the fun. In all, there were 8
members competing for the title, "King of the Club". The teams are
as follows: Tim Fleming w/ spotter Scot Hornby in a red YJ, Jody Gaddis w/
spotter Chris Pate in a red CJ-7, Bobby Holt w/ spotter Alan Adkins in a red
CJ-5, Scot Hornby w/ spotter Tim Fleming in a blue YJ, Larry Logestan w/
spotter Scott McKannan in a blue CJ-7, Scott McKannan w/ spotter Larry
Logestan in a black CJ-7, Brian Rickard w/ spotter Jody Gaddis in a black
Samari, and Ron Wilson w/ spotter Jason Will in a blue/yellow YJ. The event
was cut short due to severe thunderstorm warnings in the area. With 3 out of 5
courses completed, we decided that it was in our best interest to head for
shelter, and not a moment too late either!! When all the scores were tallied,
Larry Logestan emerged as the victor, and the title "King of the
Club". Larry being the class act that he is, donated his winnings back to
the club. THANKS LARRY!!! Below are the "official" scores for each obstacle.
